EuroLotto signs sponsorship agreement with Marit Strømøy

Marit Strømøy and EuroLotto have signed an agreement, making the European online lottery and gaming company her main sponsor for the 2012 season.

- The cooperation with EuroLotto is incredibly important to me. We are competing in the Formula 1 top division, and the competition with the Arab teams is fierce. By having EuroLotto on my side, I am able to relax more and focus on optimizing the equipment and my own racing, is the message from Marit Strømøy.

The small town Norwegian girl can look back on a long career in maritime sports and boat racing. She completed her first race in 1989, at the age of 12. Marit Strømy has inherited her father’s passion for fast boats, and from an early age she was showing great potential for boat racing. In 1992 she set a new world record and since then she has won three European Championship titles. In the past four seasons, Strømøy has had a very strong focus on the Formula 1 World Championship. Last year she became historic as the first female driver to win a pole position in a World Championship race in any motorsport. She is aiming high with her American team, Team Nautica, in the coming season.
